Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

These are the ultimate cookie for people who like the tasty peanut butter and chocolate combo. While Hershey Kisses are customary for these cookies, you can certainly top your peanut butter cookies with other candies — like Reese's or Rolo.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1 large egg

  • 18 milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped

Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  3. Stir sugar, peanut butter, and egg together in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. If dough is too sticky, refrigerate until easy to handle, about 30 minutes
  5. Place dough balls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until edges are set, about 10 minutes.
  7. Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
