1 lb. fresh mozzarella
4 large or 6 medium ripe tomatoes, sliced
1 bunch fresh basil, stems removed and discarded
Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
Flaky sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
On a large plate or platter, layer mozzarella and tomato slices in an alternating pattern. Top with basil leaves, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
