Salmon with Garlic-Butter Sauce

This is a light baked salmon dish that serves two quickly and easily for a perfect weeknight meal. Serve with salad or potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed

  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

  • 1 pinch dried oregano, or to taste

  • 2 salmon steaks

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave, about 30 seconds. Add crushed garlic to butter and stir. Season sauce with salt, pepper, and oregano.

  3. Place salmon fillets on a large sheet of aluminum foil and pour sauce on top. Wrap tightly to enclose; place on a baking sheet.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 20 minutes.
